Warung Bale Bali, has been around since August 1998, when Jalan Kunti was not as popular and busy as now. The restaurant was designed and built by the owners, when they moved into Bali from Solo, a cultural heritage city in Central Java. Bale Bali is an interpretation from the owner’s love to antiques and foods. The design of the restaurant is warm, welcoming with antiques furniture and Chinese-Javanese classic decoration. The 2nd storey open air building has it’s own little water fall in the tiny tropical garden that gives diners a sense of peace. Sitting downstairs, try to find a heart shaped red brick implanted in one of the pillars during lunch or dinner.
